ELDOA is a system of complex techniques founded by French osteopath, Guy VOYER, DO. Each ELDOA posture works with the biomechanics of the anatomy using myofascial stretching, tension, and muscle contraction to create space within the body’s joints, vertebrae, and ligaments. ELDOA decreases compression in the joints to improve circulation and reduce chronic pain, back pain, arthritis, and nerve disorders. ELDOA also aids injury recovery.
ELDOA postures are held for just one minute. In that brief time, an ELDOA:
The combination Level 1 & 2 course is designed for those who already understand anatomy and biomechanics; trainers, pilates instructors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, medical doctors, and anyone who would benefit from an intensive format.
The primary goal of ELDOA is to increase space by decompressing (decoaptation) the specific joint. There is an ELDOA for every joint in the body. As the ELDOA “create” space, there is an improvement in joint mechanics, increased blood flow, reduced pressure on the discs, a reduction of pain, spinal disc rehydration, improved posture, and a sense of well being and awareness.
